Taxpayers are unnecessarily bearing the burden of overspending and lack of financial controls. As a member of the Board of Finance, I will:

• Take a strong stance against wasteful spending and the abuse of taxpayers’ dollars
• Demand more transparency across the entire financial planning, funding, and spending continuum
• Ask tough questions of and demand intelligent answers from administration officials and hold them accountable

The founder of a corporate consulting and financial writing business, Cynthia also is a community leader who has been a vocal proponent of responsible spending and government transparency. She:

• Holds an MBA in Corporate Finance
• Has more than 20 years experience in the financial services industry
• Has served on the Boards and committees of numerous professional and community organizations
• Has spearheaded campaigns to protect property values and enhance public safety in her Stamford neighborhood, garnering the support of Democrat and Republican officials
• Has fought for cost-conscious, well-planned transportation improvements
